Taste and aroma:
Rucola tastes hot, spicy, slightly bitter and resembles the taste of cress. Older leaves with their pungent taste are suitable for seasoning, younger leaves with a milder taste are better
for lettuce.
Use:
In the kitchen the rocket can be used in many ways. Independent as a salad, or as a topping for a pizza. It is also used to season cabbage soups, pasta dishes, quark and egg
dishes.
Storage:
Fresh rocket can be kept for 1 to 2 days in a refrigerator wrapped in a damp cloth.
