Our Bioland butcher's shop offers a whole range of organic meats, including beef, veal, pork, lamb and poultry - just as you would expect from a well-stocked organic butcher.
The animals grow slowly, eat the farm's own grass and hay, have freedom of movement and are slaughtered in a stress-free manner - a way of farming that benefits the quality of the meat. We pay particular attention to good marbling and traditional maturing when it comes to beef - this makes it beautifully tender and full of flavor.
We process our meat in accordance with the Bioland guidelines: This means that we deliberately avoid artificial additives, flavor enhancers or chemical preservatives during processing. Instead, we rely on natural ingredients that emphasize the meat's own taste. Salt and a carefully selected range of herbs and spices are used to refine different types of meat.
The pieces of meat are treated by hand - by our 5 butchers and a butcher's wife - for example by careful curing, drying or smoking, so that the natural quality and tenderness is retained. This gentle, traditional processing results in meat that can fully develop its natural taste and at the same time meets the high Bioland standards. See for yourself!
