Shalimar" apples, German harvest

The Shalimar apple originally comes from the Czech Republic and is a cross between Topaz and Golden Delicious.
It is a medium-sized apple with an intense red overcolour and a green-yellow base colour. The Shalimar is a very crisp apple with a sweetness and pleasant acidity and has a long-lasting flavour.

Like all apples, it also contains provitamin A, vitamins B1, B2, B6, E and C, niacin and folic acid, as well as potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron.

It can be stored for up to six months in a cool, dark place with slightly higher humidity. The fruit compartment of the fridge is best suited for household quantities. It will keep there for up to 40 days.
