Bananas

Bananas originate from Southeast Asia, particularly in the tropical rainforests of what is now Malaysia, Indonesia, New Guinea and the Philippines. Bananas were probably cultivated over 7,000 years ago. Over the course of history, they spread across Africa and the Canary Islands to Central and South America.
Bananas taste sweet, with the sweetness varying depending on how ripe they are.

Bananas contain vitamin B6 and vitamin C, as well as potassium and magnesium.

As a tropical fruit, bananas do not like the cold at all. Therefore, do not store them in the refrigerator. Store them at room temperature in a dark place that is not below 12°C. It is best to store bananas hanging up. This prevents pressure marks from forming.
