Cauliflower

Cauliflower is often called ‘king’ among vegetable lovers and was mentioned as early as the 6th century. The Venetians brought the seeds from the Levant to Italy and it has been cultivated throughout Europe since the 16th century.
Its slightly nutty, mild and sweet flavour makes it a versatile ingredient. Its colours range from white to green and purple.

Like all types of cabbage, cauliflower is a very healthy and low-calorie vegetable and is rich in vitamins C and K, as well as potassium, calcium and iron.

Store in an airtight container in the vegetable compartment of the fridge and use within 5 to 7 days.
