Chives seeds

The perennial chive is rather undemanding, but thrives particularly well in humus-rich garden soil with a good water supply. It can also be harvested in winter by planting strong root balls from the garden in pots in late fall and placing them on the windowsill. "TIP":Flowers in pink-purple false umbels, which look pretty in fresh and dry bouquets but are also edible. Chives seed only has a high germination capacity in the first year, so do not buy in advance.
