behind all low-sugar crunchies: Barnhouse does not use chocolate for Low Sugar (No) Choco, but is the first company in Germany to use the innovative ingredient THIC -This Isn-t Chocolate-.
This is a vegan organic chocolate alternative with shea & illipe butter from wild collection as well as barley spent grains and cocoa shells - the latter are two valuable, salvaged
by-products from food production that are given a completely new purpose here through upcycling and short transportation routes. Thanks to the ingredients used, THIC has an 84% smaller CO2
footprint (per 1 kg of THIC, according to life cycle analysis) than conventional dark chocolate.
Tastes great in milk/vegetable milk, but also delicious eaten straight from the carton
