Pointed cabbage probably originates from China. The Romans already cultivated it and in the 19th century it spread to central and northern Europe.
It is rich in vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, C and K as well as potassium, calcium, phosphorus, zinc, iron, magnesium and selenium.
If you remove the wilted leaves and wrap it in a damp cloth, you can easily store pointed cabbage in the fridge. It will stay fresh there for up to 7 days.
