Red pointed cabbage, regionally grown

Pointed cabbage probably originated in China. The Romans were already growing it, and in the 19th century it spread to central and northern Europe.

It is rich in vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, C, and K, as well as potassium, calcium, phosphorus, zinc, iron, magnesium, and selenium.

If you remove the wilted leaves and wrap it in a damp cloth, you can easily store pointed cabbage in the refrigerator. It will stay fresh there for up to 7 days.
